The Harrier EV RWD starts at Rs 21.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Tata’s most powerful and feature-rich EV to date. Bookings for the rear-wheel-drive version open on July 2, 2025, available both online and at Tata showrooms.
The Harrier EV RWD is available in five trims, paired with two battery options — a 65 kWh and a 75 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) pack. The 65 kWh battery is offered in Adventure, Adventure S, and Fearless Plus variants, priced at Rs 21.49 lakh, Rs 21.99 lakh, and Rs 23.99 lakh respectively. The 75 kWh battery is available in the Fearless Plus and Empowered trims, priced at Rs 24.99 lakh and Rs 27.49 lakh, respectively. Tata is yet to reveal pricing for the top-spec Empowered AWD variant, which features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup.
Under the hood, the Harrier EV RWD uses a single rear-mounted electric motor delivering 238 hp. The AWD variant ups the performance with dual motors, a combined output of 313 hp, and 504 Nm torque. This AWD model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds when Boost mode is activated, positioning it as a powerful EV in its segment.
In comparison, the Hyundai Creta Electric is offered in five variants — Executive, Smart, Smart (O), Premium, and Excellence — with two battery sizes: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. The smaller 42 kWh battery is available in four trims priced between Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, while the larger 51.4 kWh battery is found in Smart (O) and Excellence variants, priced at Rs 21.5 lakh and Rs 23.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Both SUVs target the growing EV market but cater to slightly different segments with the Harrier EV boasting higher power and larger battery packs, while the Creta Electric offers more affordable options with smaller batteries.
