Jaipur, Rajasthan:
In an inspiring step towards environmental responsibility, young BJP leader and president of the Manav Bridge Foundation, Dr Ramprasad Bhariya, has chosen to mark his birthday in an extraordinary way — by planting trees instead of cutting a cake.
On Saturday at 11:15 AM, Dr. Bhadia will lead a unique plantation drive under the One Tree Mother Campaign at Green Park Plan, near Gyan Vihar University, Jagatpura, Sanganer, Jaipur. The initiative aims to create a human chain and plant 11,000 trees, turning a personal celebration into a collective movement for a greener tomorrow.
“The cake won’t be cut anymore — now every hand will plant a tree,” said Dr. Bhariya, urging people from all walks of life to participate and make the campaign a success.
The plantation drive reflects a growing trend of eco-conscious celebrations that replace traditional festivities with acts of sustainability. By mobilizing local residents, families, and youth, the campaign hopes to build a sense of shared responsibility for nature.
Those who wish to join are encouraged to bring friends and family, plant trees with their own hands, and help expand the green cover of Rajasthan. Supporters are also being asked to spread the word by sharing the message on social media, adding their names in solidarity.
