Paresh Rawal Confirms Return to Hera Pheri 3, Dismisses Controversy and Praises Co-Stars
Weeks after announcing his exit from the much-anticipated film Hera Pheri 3, veteran actor Paresh Rawal has confirmed his return to the franchise. During a candid conversation with Himanshu Mehta on his podcast, Rawal addressed the rumours and controversy swirling around the film, clarifying that there was no real dispute. He also took the opportunity to commend his co-stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and director Priyadarshan.
When asked about the alleged controversy, Paresh Rawal was quick to deny its existence. “Nahi controversy kuch nahi hai (There’s no controversy),” he said firmly. According to him, when a film or series is beloved by fans, the responsibility on the makers increases manifold. “I believe that when people have loved something so much, then you have to be extra careful. It is our responsibility toward the audience. The audience has given you so much adulation. You can’t take things for granted. Mehnat karke unko do (Work hard and give them the film),” he explained. Rawal emphasized that his only wish was for the entire team to come together and put in their best effort. “Sab saath mein aaye, mehnat karein. Aur kuch nahin (Everyone should come together, work hard). It is all resolved now.”
Rawal also confirmed that the trio of himself, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty will indeed be seen together in Hera Pheri 3. “Pehle bhi aane hi waali thi (Earlier too, the film was scheduled to release), but it’s just that we had to fine-tune ourselves (laughs),” he added, reflecting on the creative process. He praised the long-standing camaraderie among the team, noting that Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty have been friends for many years.
The actor’s statements have brought relief to fans eagerly awaiting the return of the iconic comedy trio. With the issues now reportedly behind them, the Hera Pheri 3 team seems poised to deliver another memorable installment in the beloved franchise.
