Seattle police are investigating a daring daylight robbery that saw millions of dollars in jewelry stolen from Menashe and Sons Jewelers, a family-owned store in West Seattle. Around noon on August 14, four masked suspects smashed through the locked front door with hammers, then destroyed six display cases in under 90 seconds. Armed with a Taser and bear spray, the thieves threatened staff but caused no injuries. Surveillance footage captured the chaotic scene, while neighbors reported hearing loud crashes as the robbery unfolded. The suspects fled in a getaway car before police arrived, leaving behind shattered glass and shaken employees. Vice President Josh Menashe confirmed the store will remain closed as staff recover and assess losses. Among the stolen items were Rolex watches valued at up to $800,000, a $125,000 emerald necklace, and extensive gold jewelry. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Seattle PD’s Violent Crimes Tip Line.
