Larsen & Toubro (L&T), one of India’s leading engineering and construction conglomerates, has announced that its Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical has secured several significant orders both within India and overseas. According to L&T’s project classification, these contracts are categorized as ‘Large,’ with a cumulative value ranging between ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore.
Major Projects in Andhra Pradesh
A significant portion of the newly acquired orders has been awarded by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA). These contracts are to be executed in Amaravati, the state’s capital region, and include the construction of critical government infrastructure.
The first project involves the Integrated Andhra Pradesh State Secretariat and Head of Department (HoD) Offices, specifically Towers 3 and 4. These towers will be constructed on a design-and-build basis, featuring a basement + ground + 39 floors configuration, alongside a dedicated amenities building.
The second major package from APCRDA includes the construction of 21 residential towers. This massive residential project will include RCC shell and core works, architectural finishes, electrical and plumbing installations, sanitary fittings, firefighting systems, elevators, DG sets, HVAC, building security systems, and extensive hardscaping and landscaping. Internal roads will also be constructed as part of this large-scale development.
Mumbai Luxury Towers
In Mumbai, L&T has secured an order from a reputed real estate developer for the construction of two luxury residential towers. Each tower will follow a 1B+1G+5P+59 floor configuration, reaching an impressive height of approximately 200 meters. The scope includes RCC structural works and other core construction activities.
International Project in Oman
L&T Oman, the company’s overseas arm, has won a repeat order from a prestigious client in Muscat. The project involves constructing a premium office complex comprising three identical towers (Ground + 8 floors), built atop a shared two-level basement. A central landscaped plaza will connect the towers. The scope includes civil and architectural works, MEP installations, internal finishes for common areas, and comprehensive hardscaping and landscaping.
These projects further bolster L&T’s portfolio in both urban infrastructure and premium developments across geographies.
